I love love love conchas, so I was so happy to see this beautiful pink specimen in the pastry window at Guevara's! It was everything I could ask for! It wasn't overly sweet, but didn't feel too bready on the inside. The pink sugar topping didn't flake away everytime I picked it up. And it was huge! If I lived here I'd be coming back for conchas all the time! At $5, it's a common treat I could justify.
