Review of Po' Boy Bun at Ladybird by iszy
We love po' boys, so we had to try the po' boy bun! Between the pillow soft bao bun is crispy cauliflower, Sriracha aioli, sesame seed, and coleslaw. I love slaw so I really liked that addition. I think I would have preferred the "meat" to be something other than cauliflower because I really prefer tofu or mushroom po' boys. It makes sense that it's cauliflower though because they cover all the bases with the buns; the other two options feature tofu and mushroom. Despite the Sriracha aioli, I don't think this was spicy. I'm not sure if my spice receptors are damaged, or maybe Ladybird steers away from spice in their dishes. I don't mind! Just know to not be turned off from any possible heat on their menu.
