Specialty Sweet & Sour Salmoniee Bento+ at Greendot Plus — xinru-t's Review (May 1, 2023)

Nicely plated set inspired by the bento boxes Greendot is known for, while integrating the main dish from the popular Veg-An collab! Featuring succulent grilled #happiee soy 'salmon' chunks with zucchini and eggplant in sweet and tangy amazu vinegar sauce. There was also a bowl of umami miso soup with seaweed, mushrooms, and silken tofu. In place of the Japanese-style sides from the original collab, this version came with #happiee konjac 'fish fingers' with vegan mayonnaise, Greendot's classic braised pumpkin with goji berries, mixed berry and almond salad in balsamic vinegar, as well as osmanthus jelly with fruits. The weak link was the white rice which was too dry and hard for my liking. Overall a balanced and nice set, and great for those who find it inconvenient to catch the Wazen menu at Greendot One Raffles Place! (Allium-free, $15.90) #sgvegan #sglocal
