They have a really great texture. The inside is #mashedpotato, the type that is pretty thick so it is nicely soft but not too mushy. The outside coating is perfectly #crispy and delicious.
The contrast is very pleasant.
They flavourings used includes onion, yeast extract, sugar, herbs (garlic and other unlisted herbs) it is mild but they have a very nice savoury taste to them. I can taste a bit of the #onion but no other herbs stand out to me. Not overly #salty at all, very balanced with the other flavours.
They are fried in #sunflower oil and are made with #riceflour and does not contain any wheat, suitable if you are #glutenfree.
Very delicious and a great alternative if you want a #quickandeasy potato dish. They are done after 20 minutes in the oven. Great by itself with some nice #dips but also suitable as a nice side to many different dishes.
💵~50 NOK at Coop for a large bag. You can find them in most stores. The plastic packaging is also #recyclable.
