So, those swirls are the fried tofu? I wonder how they keep them from breaking. So cool and pretty!

Fuki Tofu Dengaku

Obon Shokudo

This consisted of fuki, a uniquely delicious Japanese herb that is a harbinger of spring, mixed with house kenzanji miso.  This classic springtime combination of flavors was served seared on fried tofu age.  It was delightful.
