Review of Svíčková with Dumplings at Vegan's Prague by trixi
This place offers traditional Czech food veganized. The sauce tasted slightly like carrot and was overall pretty flavorful. The “meat” had a nice texture. The flavor of the cranberry jam fit it very well. The dumplings were not exactly what I had pictured but also not bad. Just more like white bread than actual dumplings.

sparrownest The part about dumplings is definitely a cultural thing - in Czechia, this is the default you get when ordering dumplings in a restaurant. There are also potato dumplings that get sliced like this. And stuffed dumplings with various fillings (fruit or poppy for the sweet versions, meat in potato dumplings).
