I was so excited when this ice cream flavor was announced and couldn’t wait to try it, so when I saw it today, I immediately grabbed it. I’m not crazy about the ingredients but at least it’s fair trade and the texture is great, thick and creamy like traditional ice cream but I was a little disappointed in the flavor. I just thought it would be more like an oatmeal cream pie but I got strong notes of honey and caramel with the oatmeal. It’s not bad, it’s just not what I expected, but hey, I’m grateful for any vegan options available to me.
