Wild Mushroom Risotto Cake at The Gate Islington — carolinecapaccia's Review (Jan 29, 2023)

I am giving 5 stars to this dish because it is incredible. I always order the same dish every time I go to the gate. They always add new dishes, but this one is always in the menu and in my opinion is their best dish. It is a risoto cake , I imagine it is grilled in a pan to create a crisp exterior. It come in a bath of mushroom sauce with truffle ( the most incredible thing ) with grilled mushroom and rocket on top. Nothing close to a boring rissoto. It is a must try with you go to The Gate.
