I really enjoyed these Crispy Batter No Beef Strips from Aldi. The taste of the meat substitute was very similar to the Plant Pioneers Meat Free Steaks from Sainsbury’s - so if you like them, you’ll probably like these! The crispy “beef” is a great, affordable option for creating your own vegan “fakeaway” at home. The taste is good and the texture is nice. I haven’t seen anything like this before when it comes to vegan options, so it’s definitely an original idea from Aldi!
