VEGAN

Cauldron

I haven’t had these Cauldron falafels in a long time! When I first went vegan these used to be my go-to supermarket staple. They’re good and perfect for a quick snack but they can be a little bit dry through, but easily fixed with a big portion of humous. #falafel #ukvegan

earthlinged It’s the best way 👏1 likeReply
vikas Do you have an air fryer? It’s changed my life for the better and I use it to reheat everything including falafel (instead of frying them). 9 likesReply
gingersaint I saw a hilarious meme on my Instagram feed about putting literally everything in the air fryer and I laughed a lot because it’s so true 😂4 likesReply
earthlinged That is such a good tip! Next time I’m definitely going to try that out 3 likesReply
fionareid Agree re the dryness but, like you, lots of hummus does the trick. Also some mango chutney as a wee dip. 👌🏻3 likesReply
pinkobsessedvegan They look great! Iove the falafel from Trader Joe's! We have the mix to make it and an easy frozen version but the packaging isn't sustainable. We have things here and there in compostable bags. We have these veggie bites that are so good with ketchup. You just pop them in the air fryer and bam a delishious healthy meal! I did a tasting of those today and the chocolate dipped mango. To die for! 1 likeReply
obeeone I too find these a little dry but with a generous helping of humous or something like a chilli jam or chutney makes a good alternative. 1 likeReply
