Review of Mylk Chocolate + Hazelnut Crispy Wafer Bar - Trupo Treats by beckyyy

This is the 3rd out of 3 flavors I received from the Trupo Treats multipack that I purchased (others are chocolate and peanut butter).

Before trying any, I figured this one would be my favorite.

If you’ve not seen my previous reviews: These bars fall in between a Kit Kat and Nutty Bar. They have layers of wafers and cream, covered in a thin chocolate coating. They are long and thin, with two bars per package.

I was a bit disappointed with this variety in that the hazelnut flavor is so faint. Wasn’t expecting it to be as bold as a Bueno/Go Raw but was certainly hoping for more cream/heavier taste that what I could detect. I think most folks would be pretty happy about this one -and I do like it - I’m just a bit bummed as choc hazelnut is my fave combo and it really only delivers a tease.

That being said, it’s crispy and tastes nice! I don’t find it overly sweet. It’s also endearing that two vegan brothers started this company and these products via crowd sourcing and is ethical chocolate - very cool!

I would definitely repurchase the chocolate flavor in the future!
