I got my first shipment of these today, I ordered the variety box. Probably

my favorite is the chocolate but I did like the hazelnut bar too. I love companies that are vegan and I try to support them as much as I can.

This consisted of 2 long wafer bars, each with 4 layers of crispy wafers enrobed

in creamy stone-ground plant-based milk chocolate. Not only was it delicious, but it’s wonderful that the chocolate is recommended by Food Empowerment Project and a portion of the proceeds are donated to animal sanctuaries.

This is the 3rd out of 3 flavors I received from the Trupo Treats multipack

that I purchased (others are chocolate and peanut butter).

Before trying any, I figured this one would be my favorite.

If you’ve not seen my previous reviews: These bars fall in between a Kit Kat and Nutty Bar. They have layers of wafers and cream, covered in a thin chocolate coating. They are long and thin, with two bars per package.

I was a bit disappointed with this variety in that the hazelnut flavor is so faint. Wasn’t expecting it to be as bold as a Bueno/Go Raw but was certainly hoping for more cream/heavier taste that what I could detect. I think most folks would be pretty happy about this one -and I do like it - I’m just a bit bummed as choc hazelnut is my fave combo and it really only delivers a tease.

That being said, it’s crispy and tastes nice! I don’t find it overly sweet. It’s also endearing that two vegan brothers started this company and these products via crowd sourcing and is ethical chocolate - very cool!

I would definitely repurchase the chocolate flavor in the future!

I was excited to try the new wafer bar from Trupo Treats and it definitely

reminds me of a Kit Kat. It’s a bit sweet for me since I like a darker chocolate but it is Mylk chocolate after all. The hazelnut is a bit on the subtler side which some may prefer. Overall, this bar meets the criteria for a good alternative to the original wafer bar. I love how Trupo Treats supports animal sanctuaries and sources their chocolate responsibly.

Delicious wafer! The #hazelnut flavor isn't super strong, but it still works really well with

the chocolate. 16g added sugar total for both wafer bars in the package.
