This is my first introduction to arancini and I loved it! It's such a fun Italian word to say and was described deliciously on the menu: "fried & breaded saffron rice balls stuffed with our mozzarella & smoked ham". The balls are so big the first couple bites I just got the saffron rice. It was piping hot but so yummy. The breading was salty and there was just the right amount of saffron to make that rice something special. When I got to the ham and mozzarella center there was an explosion of flavor! The ham and mozzarella combination kind of reminded me of chicken cordon bleu flavors. The cheese was so melty and the ham was so savory.
Hark! is such a great place to stop by before a show at First Ave. It was a wonderful part of a night downtown!
