Delicious convenient meal 🤩 the smoky BBQ taste from the vegan bacon goes so well with everything, I love the addition of the broccoli too.

BUT, if we’re being super legalistic, I don’t think it is entirely Mac and cheese? They use penne pasta instead of macaroni, which isn’t a big deal, but that already removes the whole “Mac” part of the meal, doesn’t it? 😂 there also doesn’t seem to be any actual vegan cheese in this (just the DIY butternut sauce).

The ingredients list on the package is not complete either; there’s no mention of the pasta, the broccoli or the vegan bacon… and again, it’s extremely difficult to get the sticker off the back of the container for cooking purposes.

Priced at R69, but there was a special of 5 for the price of 4 frozen meals.

I think I would consider getting it again, I definitely did enjoy the overall taste.
