Located in Downtown Columbus, Willowbeez SoulVeg currently sits in the historic North Market as the only all vegan restaurant owned by Carnell Willoughby. I'll always love the hustle and bustle inside the market as people explore the different shops and vendors. It also exposes people to an all vegan restaurant that otherwise might not be. We usually take our food outside to eat, I’m all about the natural photo light🤣 haha, but there is a huge dining hall on the second floor where most people choose to eat. It's a cool atmosphere.

Willbowbeez is family owned and operated. It’s also the very first vegan soul food restaurant and popup in Columbus. Carnell and his family do so much to support the black community and in his early days would hire disadvantaged black youth to help serve at popups, giving them work experience and mentorship. He is a great guy.

@gregcombs and I ordered the Curry Bella which consists of Jamaican curry, green peppers, tomatoes, baby bella mushrooms and peas. All of their dishes have a Jamaican twist and as they always say, their main ingredient is love. This was a great curry and it was extremely filling. It wasn’t too spicy, but it had a really smokey and robust flavor and the baby bella mushrooms really mimic faux meats well. I love how creamy, showing you can still make those typea of dishes #dairyfree It’s served as a meal, so you can choose a side and it comes with cornbread. We got a side of their Mac n’ pleas. You can never pass up cheezy mac! This entire meal was $15, which is a fair price considering everything is made from scratch and they use only high quality ingredients. Even if curry isn't your favorite, I would still recommend trying this. It’s so unique and I'm honestly not a huge curry fan, but enjoyed this. It's also pretty nutritious and full of protein.

lizmaselli Would someone be able to give me some advice. None of my reviews are earning $2. Is there something I can improve on?3 likesReply
tina360 So far my max is $1.80. I was wondering if adding a video or something might bump it up. 3 likesReply
tina360 If that's even possible. Not sure. 1 likeReply
ftc Well done on $1.80 I have not been able to get more than $1.701 likeReply
iszy Reading the article that they shared, I wonder if taking pictures of the decor in the restaurant would help? However, I hope that's not what they're expecting because I'd rather see pictures of the dish than the restaurant when I'm scrolling through the reviews. 1 likeReply
lizmaselli It wasn't a restaurant though but a very busy crowded market!🤣2 likesReply
iszy Oh! I just wrote a review that earned $0.90 in donation credits! What was different about that one is that I mixed a few of the hashtags into my review instead of listing them all after. It's the Earth Grown Teriyaki Chicken on my page if you want to see the example. 7 likesReply
ftc Thank you for this info , will try this 1 likeReply
ftc Good news I have managed to get two Reviews at $.80 using your hashtags recommendation, still trying for $.90😭
We are really having to work really hard to earn our donations
Must say it’s become a bit exhausting & frustrating on my side not being media inclined (different generation 😂) but determined to still try as our donations are so needed 1 likeReply
