Ok let’s hear it for a faux cheese that can actually grab your taste buds by the lapels and plant a juicy smacker of flavor on them. Ok, it’s not going to steal your car and do doughnuts around the car park of your local police station - it’s more Billy Joel than Kurt Kobain - but it manages to brighten up many a meal. Back in my merely vegetarian days I used to make the pictured dish using brie, but this is a worthy substitute. Even Nora likes it - that disdainful look is simply a ploy to get more!
