Drunken Noodles at Laksana Thai Cuisine — kyu's Review (Oct 15, 2022)

I visited Laksana Thai for the first time recently to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and I ordered the drunken noodles with fried tofu and vegetables, medium hot, off the separate vegetarian menu. All noodle dishes can be veganized by requesting they omit eggs.
Considering what I paid ($16.95 + tax and additional dine-in surcharge,) the portion was actually massive. I would recommend sharing family-style; I ended up with enough leftovers for lunch and dinner the next day! The picture doesn’t do justice to the size of the plate, and they also use some of the widest rice noodles I’ve ever seen. A little more tofu would have been nice, but the variety of vegetables was excellent. It was all wonderfully flavored with Thai basil, chili, and a very generous amount of garlic.
The restaurant has lovely ambiance and a super plush and polished interior. The service was pretty slow, but I think they were understaffed. I’ll have to return sometime to try my other go-to, green curry!
