I was intrigued by Good Karma’s fortified blend of oats, peas, and flax — could they successfully capture the best attributes of each ingredient, while also avoiding the usual pitfalls? Ultimately, I’m not sure. It pours rather thick and feels creamy, albeit with a touch of sliminess that I’ve noticed in some plant milks. I’ve been using it to make smoothies, though, which seems to mask that quality.
There’s a pretty typical 5g of added sugar per cup; however, the other reviewer who noted the extreme flavorlessness was spot-on. The milk doesn’t taste like oats or even pea protein (which I find to have a powerful flavor.) Although I wouldn’t recommend drinking it on its own for this reason, I’m sure the neutrality would be fine for cooking.

This is so odd. 🤔 I have gotten Good Karma flax milk many times and it's on the "light" side! Maybe what I get is just flax and the one show here is a blend. That must be it. Also the one that I get is refrigerated and different colored packaging. It's flavor is mild and refreshing, not filling at all.

Interesting! That's wild that despite the oats, peas, and flax that it didn't take on any flavor between those ingredients. Thanks for the info 🍶
