Review of Triple Satay Platter with Signature Satay Sauce at Mother Earth Vegetarian by xinru-t

Came with 3 types of satay, 5 sticks each - monkeyhead mushrooms without eggwash for the vegan option, soy meat which was everyone's favourite, and I think the last was seitan which was kind of salty and peppery like luncheon meat. Nice variety although they didn't really resemble real satay in taste and texture (e.g. no mixture of lean and fatty parts). The peanut sauce was thick and pretty good though not spicy. Came with several ketupat cubes and cucumber slices, personally would have liked a bit more cucumber. Good for sharing! ($18)
