The white chocolate does not taste too sweet. It also has a pleasant malty or caramel taste. The chopped nuts provide the right crunch. Very successful. Just a little too expensive for regular consumption. (65g for approx. 2.60 euros)
I was able to learn something else. The chocolate contains yacon powder. This is a sugar substitute obtained from a tuber that grows mainly in South America. The tuber is characterised by a high proportion of fructooligosaccharides. These are sweet like sugar, but at the same time they are not digestible and therefore belong to the dietary fibres that promote intestinal health. They also have a very low glycaemic index.
