Vikas’ Sourdough

Without a doubt the best sourdough bread in Singapore. Perfectly seasoned with a slightly tangy flavor which is balanced well with a bit of a sour taste. A wonderful accompaniment to soup or just by itself.

The key difference for me is the crunch of the crust, the weight of the bread, and the chewy texture of the inside. Most other varieties in Singapore are pale in comparison due to an undercooked exterior, light weight and lack of flavor. The love in which the bread is made shines through.

I was so anxious when I first received it, I probably didn't let it cool enough before diving in. I'm one who generally counts carbs but it didn't matter in this situation. 2nd and third pieces were eaten in rapid fashion. My recommendation is to eat with a touch of olive oil, salt and pepper although you can't go wrong with any choice.

Only complaint in 2 loaves a week. Production clearly needs to be increased. Get it in gear!
