
These are not pretending to be meat, which I appreciate. The taste is good, mostly savoury w a touch of sweetness and the texture is dense and substantial. The only strange thing is that unlike when cooking all other vegan food, the pan was difficult to clean. Huh. I will definitely bake the other 2.
I had mine in a simple wrap, but Rory added vegan cheese and had to eat his version open-faced, as you can see.
