Spice lovers rejoice! A great rendition of Mala in the the heartlands. Pairs well with their sour plum drink. Sometimes the spicy paste is not mixed in well enough with the ingredients so I would recommend mixing the dish thoroughly when served. It also helps to spread the coriander and peanuts around. Kind of oily but thats mala for you! Love the vibe of Jalan Kayu so do check this outlet of Shu out.
When ordering, I avoid the mock mutton as that tends to contain egg. If you are unsure if any of the mock meats contain egg do check!
