Nobody realises how much of your culture is robbed living away from home, and much more so when going vegan 🌱 Visiting Kuching this frequently recently has been keeping me certainly a lot more sane, especially eating foods like this! This was #veganized per the menu on the last photo, but they still served a non-vegan tomato #sambal with anchovies 🤦‍♀️ Luckily however I could spot it before eating any of it! Photo number 5 by the way 🐟 They swapped it out for #bungakantan sambal instead which I much better prefer anyways 💁‍♀️ and swapped the chicken for #rendang #tempeh 😋 Oh, and the “rice” was keto-friendly! I actually love #cauliflowerrice quite a bit so that mixed with the tapioca leaves was heavenly 💕 Happy #ChineseNewYear to all that celebrate by the way too 🐯
