Review of Original Tempeh - Lightlife by roserose

I am not a tempeh expert, in fact it was my first time trying one that was not flavored. I was using it as salad topping, the first time I added teriyaki sauce during cooking, but the second time I ate it plain. The texture was good, very soft and tender. It was okay, not sure what plain tempeh was even supposed to taste like, I certainly enjoyed it more than tofu. What I don’t get is why it was double wrapped in plastic, I’ve tried their Buffalo Tempeh and it only had one layer of packaging.
