Review of Xing Hua Fried Bee Hoon at Xing Hua Vegetarian Restaurant by pomwei
At $5.50, the bee hoon used was thin, and it provided a unique texture which was different from the usual cut of bee hoon. Since the strands of bee hoon were thin, the serving was quite substantial. The flavours in each strand, coupled with the generous amount of ingredients, somewhat did the price justice. Overall, a safe option to try!
Side note: thought it was cute that they tried to give some shrimp “sashimi” slices. The texture was really like sashimi but they were quite bland in flavours. Nevertheless, decent effort to be unique!
