Review of Like Schnitzel - Like Meat by yourlocalvegan

We got this to have with the Yo! Sushi katsu sauce I got in my TVK box (reviewed separately), and were very disappointed by it. The cooking instructions say to fry it but we didn’t have any oil so we just cooked it in the oven. It might have been this that made it not so nice but I’m not sure. You get two pieces in a packet and they’re really very thin. The breaded coating was just quite strange and not very crispy, and the chicken centre was quite tough and bland. The other disappointing thing is that the box is easily big enough for 4 pieces but they only put 2 in, and at £3.50 per packet it’s not very good value. I won’t be getting these again.
