Are you a Northerner missing chicken parmo?! These work perfect as a replacement. I put

2 together to mimic butterflied chicken.

The schnitzel made from soy protein is extremely good. It has a very crispy breading

and is not too thick or dry. Just right. We will definitely get this again.

In one word: meh

In comparison to other "Schnitzels" I was a bit disappointed. It was

like eating a crunchy, fried sole. A bit too salty too... not worth the 3.50€ + for this. I bought it because I wanted to try it and I think that one time was enough for me :)

We got this to have with the Yo! Sushi katsu sauce I got in my

TVK box (reviewed separately), and were very disappointed by it. The cooking instructions say to fry it but we didn’t have any oil so we just cooked it in the oven. It might have been this that made it not so nice but I’m not sure. You get two pieces in a packet and they’re really very thin. The breaded coating was just quite strange and not very crispy, and the chicken centre was quite tough and bland. The other disappointing thing is that the box is easily big enough for 4 pieces but they only put 2 in, and at £3.50 per packet it’s not very good value. I won’t be getting these again.
