VEGAN

Rügenwalder Mühle

I overcame my childhood trauma and bought this vegan cold cut 🥓 When I was younger my parents always wanted me to eat this kind of sausage on bread for dinner - but I hated it. They insisted that I’d eat it tho - obviously the non-vegan version 🐷 So when they came out with a vegan version I just never got it because of the bad experiences with the original product lol. But today I decided that it was time to try this: and let me tell you... it tastes just like my childhood trauma 🤣 Jokes aside, the taste mimics the meat product 100%. There are small bell pepper 🫑 pieces inside which I enjoy. It’s made from water, oil, bell peppers, zucchini, carageen, euchema algeas, konjac, pea protein, aroma, salt, potatoe protein, sugar, vinegar, herbs and spices 🌿, and a colorant. Even has 3.9g of protein 💪 #abillionturns3

dory I also can’t face these products, but very glad they exist for non-traumatised people 😂 (I grew up in Hungary and horrible salamis & sausages were forced on me. Can’t handle the vegan versions still 🥲)3 likesReply
david- I got the salami as well... haven’t tried it yet because the trauma is sitting too deep 🥲 I’m just grossed out by looking at it already 3 likesReply
