Review of Tender chickenless pieces - The Unbelievable ALT. by don1mclean

It was ok, but not exceptional. Not worth RRP £3 to me - this is significantly more expensive than actual chicken - not that I want that at all, but this feels like profiteering. If significantly reduced, may worth trying.
Uncooked I could taste the slightly grainy texture other reviews mention, but I didn't notice this after cooking (with some garlic & ginger).
I messed up the cooking (it was in a wood-fired oven, so there's no temperature control, & I also had a Mexican inspired dish on the go, so had a couple of tequilas to improve the feel. One thing lead to another, & the chickenless pieces came out a more crispy than intended. They were still quite pleasant, if partly crunchy.)
