Inspired by @appleappleamanda's post yesterday, I just had to go to the new Camden branch of Café de Nata to get one of these! (I couldn't be bothered to add the new location on here, soz).
I went to Lisbon a couple of years ago and went to the most famous place for these desserts, a bakery called Pastéis de Belém and the queue to buy one of these was SO long! I so wanted one but they aren't vegan, and I'm so surprised now that we have the option!! 😍 I do enjoy custard but having it in a pastry or doughnut has always been strange to me... This was delicious, however I'm not sure I'd get it again as it was veeery rich and maybe just a bit too much for me. Definitely recommend trying though, especially if you love custard! #pasteisdenata#custardtart#abillionturns3
