The national dish of #Malaysia, Nasi Lemak🥳!! I actually forgot I went to Pinxin over the weekend & had my first dine-in there this year 😱 ..not that this dish was forgettable of course, I just got a little hungover the day after (unrelated) 🤪 The rice was perfect! Incredibly rich & aromatic, enriched with coconut oil, and made with a mix of red & white rice. It’s a shame I didn’t move the papadam for this shot 🤦‍♀️ The dish was also served with acar, sambal, cashew nuts, & some lovely sweet tempeh 🤤 The hericium satay was delightful with the mushrooms being perfectly cooked & crunchy and the satay sauce incredibly rich, as if you were having peanut butter on rice 🤓 #impactfulapril #autismawarenessmonth

dafnelately Also sorry in advance for the leather bag in sight; I couldn’t quite crop it out of the photo & it did receive some comments from a couple in the shop - that we’d enter a vegan restaurant with a leather bag 🤭 ..but it’s my girlfriend’s, she’d had it for a while now, & it’ll probably be the last leather item we get 💁‍♀️ especially since we’ve found some great vegan leather items recently~4 likesReply
