Review of Laksa at Genesis Vegan Restaurant by byobottlesg

i don't usually order laksa but saw all the reviews and couldn't resist! happy to say it didn't disappoint. this dish comes with a huge heap of bee hoon, some fishcake-like strips and mushroom mock meat (my fav!), topped with thin strips of cucumber 🥒 the broth was super rich and creamy, i loved that it was not oily at all unlike most other laksas. but it was missing a touch of acidity - i think a squeeze of lime would've sealed the deal for me 🥰 (i still finished every last drop of it though HAHA it was too good.) also, i'm not usually a fan of bee hoon but it paired very nicely with the thick broth! any other type of noodle would probably have been too rich. portion was definitely very generous and kept me full all the way till dinner ☺️
