Review of So Organic Super Firm Tofu - Sainsbury's by julesbateman
Sainsburys are really investing in vegan products and for the first time I found their tofu, which came for £1.50 only.
I’d argue that it’s “super firm” because, as a matter of fact, it’s quite spongy and crumbles very easily 😅
Its taste is also strange, soy is definitely predominant and tends to be slightly on the sour side rather than neutral.
My favourite tofu brand remains Tofoo, followed by Cauldron. I might buy this one if the other two brands are out of stock, it’s never going to be my first choice, there’s a lot to improve here!

rikesh I still somehow haven’t tried Tofoo but definitely want to give it a go Jules, especially as i’ve not got to whip out my tofu press for it. Cauldron is my usual go-to but it’s great to see that Sainsbury’s are putting effort into their own brand version 😊1 likeReply
