Sainsbury’s own tofu! Only £1.50 for a block. I made tofu scramble with it :)

Sainsburys are really investing in vegan products and for the first time I found their

tofu, which came for £1.50 only.

I’d argue that it’s “super firm” because, as a matter of fact, it’s quite spongy and crumbles very easily 😅
Its taste is also strange, soy is definitely predominant and tends to be slightly on the sour side rather than neutral.

My favourite tofu brand remains Tofoo, followed by Cauldron. I might buy this one if the other two brands are out of stock, it’s never going to be my first choice, there’s a lot to improve here!

I really enjoyed this. Super simple and easy to cook with and flavour to your

Great taste for an organic tofu at a cheaper price. Unlike other tofu brands, half

of the packaging can be recycled and this makes it also easier to squeeze the tofu to get rid of the excess liquid.
The tofu itself is less smokey in comparison to other brands so if you expect to have plain tofu, you’ll have it.
