Vegan fish fingers 🎣 Another new product available at Lidl DE for #veganuary These fish fingers, same as the fish nuggets, are cauliflower based. Here you can somewhat taste it but it’s not distracting! Quite high in fats but you can wipe some of it away while pan frying them! Works well with vegan mayo 🌱 #veganuary

vegneve Ohhh Cauliflower used for a fish substitute is unusual, did it work well compared to tofish? Keine fischstäbchen at my Lidl!😓 1 likeReply
david- It did work quite well though I’m still missing a fishy taste. There’s a bit but not enough for me lol. Pairing it with a mayonnaise makes it a bit better though 1 likeReply
vegneve I know what you mean, fish was the last thing I had to cut out to go vegan and like you I miss the taste! The most realistic fish substitute I’ve found thus far is the Fry’s fish-style fillets, it’s got like a lemony taste that tricks you into thinking it’s a real fishy taste🐟 if you’ve got that brand your neck of the woods, I’d recommend!! 1 likeReply
