Wahey someone has veganised #kolomee 👏🏆🎉 I like the compartmentalised paper box too 😚
They used #mockcharsiew, some #bokchoy, and then a few bits of fried #taukee. I added my own dish of chilli oil. Minced meat is a core ingredient of Kolo Mee (Borneo natives like @dafnelately, correct me if I'm wrong), and I was a bit disappointed that they hadn't tried a replacement for it 😐 I also felt the noodle sauce could have been a bit more flavourful. In short, it's good, but may not entirely kill your cravings 😅

dafnelately Yuups, char siew & minced meat are essential to kolo mee! Also, they really butchered the colour of the noodles 😱 I’ve had vegan kolo mee, & this ain’t it, chief 😣1 likeReply
