Wahey someone has veganised #kolomee 👏🏆🎉 I like the compartmentalised paper box too 😚

They used

#mockcharsiew, some #bokchoy, and then a few bits of fried #taukee. I added my own dish of chilli oil. Minced meat is a core ingredient of Kolo Mee (Borneo natives like @dafnelately, correct me if I'm wrong), and I was a bit disappointed that they hadn't tried a replacement for it 😐 I also felt the noodle sauce could have been a bit more flavourful. In short, it's good, but may not entirely kill your cravings 😅

This is nothing like "normal" #meekolok 😷 These noodles were so overcooked they told me what the afterlife looks like. Speaking of the afterlife, while I'm all about indulging in the sinfulness of gluten, #hailseitan 😈, the #charsiew that accompanied the noodles was abominable. It resembled #youtiao more than anything else and was sweet. Sweet!! 🤢 I didn't get the awesome takeout box either so everything was crammed together 😪 Thank goodness I'm going to Sarawak on Sunday. You want good Sarawak noodles in West Malaysia? Buy the instant noodles from Mama Vege. #veganisnotscary but these noodles are. #dobetter #myworstveggie #pbas2021
