The Walking Phoenix Pizza at Secret Pizza Society — pdxveg's Review (Jan 21, 2021)

Named in honor of actor and animal rights activist Joaquin Phoenix, this delicious and colorful special had their top secret Po'fredo sauce (a blend of potato, fresh basil, coconut cream, and other spices that is the “cheese” base of the pie), Cultured Kindness basil chèvre, green pesto, broccoli, roasted red onions, and fresh red bell peppers. The luscious cheeses and pesto went well with the veggies, and the crust, as always, had a satisfyingly chewy crumb and crispy edges, with a light sprinkle of salt.
