I’d always been tempted by the Pasta Evangelists video ads so when I saw they have vegan options I thought I’d give them a try. They’re certainly expensive but claim to be restaurant quality food. Rachel and I went for double portions and got a slight discount with a code so it ended up costing £6 each per portion - which is certainly steep, more expensive than shopping for food but slightly cheaper than some restaurants. The pasta itself was really nice and the portion was a bit bigger than I expected - the pesto tasted super fresh and lovely and it was all ready in around 5 mins which was super convenient. I was impressed with the dish itself but am conscious that £6 is a lot of money for a dish that needs a side in order to be satisfying. Mixed feelings!
