Review of Lai cha noodle soup at Nature Cafe by xinru-t

The lei cha noodle soup cost $6. It was an unconventional but interesting take on the usual Hakka lei cha thunder tea dishes! Instead of rice topped with green beans, nuts, and tofu, this version came with springy noodles alongside sweet peas, baby corn, broccoli, shimeji mushrooms, and vegetarian fishcake. The soup was minty, savoury, and not too bitter despite the vegetal notes.
