Review of Texas fried Chicken at Rice House Vegetarian by katherinegloria

This was an extremely spontaneous visit. Since this place is near my university and i had a lunch break, i simply looked up for some vegan food near the area and found this! Took me 15 minutes to walk here from my school.

I’ve never had texas fried chicken before so i don’t know how this fairs with the actual thing. The “chicken” is made using seitan and battered extremely well. It is perfectly crispy on the outside, not to mention the “meat”-to-batter ratio! They are extremely generous with the seitan portion. If i put my hatred towards the taste of meat aside, i would say this tastes great. 100% vegan chicken 🐥 from this vegetarian stall. Best consumed with some sauce.
