🍜 Kway Chap is a popular vegan dish of flat rice broad sheet-like noodle in a dark soy sauce broth with fragrant dark gravy with braised peanuts, tau kwa (firm large bean curd) & tau pok (small deep fried bean curd pockets)
🍜 The origin is from a Chinese Teochew style of braised pork, hard boiled eggs, bean curd, fish cake and pork innards.
🍜 I never liked pork but always liked the soy sauce flat rice noodles, so this is a really nice vegan dish
🍜 Best eaten piping hot as the noodles are silky smooth and melts in the mouth
🍜 A good rendition here & only gave lower points because of the use of disposable plate & saucer for dine in.
