Review of Budae jjigae / Army stew at Daehwa Vegetarian by jinglebells

Was pleasantly surprised by this place! First time at a Korean plant-based restaurant and definitely will return to try other dishes :)

This army stew tastes q similar to the real deal! It comes with the usual ingredients, excluding meat but they brilliantly used mock sausages and luncheon meat as replacement which tasted really delicious btw. Soup is just the right amount of spice, broth is thick and shiok. Also comes with plenty of kimchi, a few slices of rice cakes and enoki mushroom! And a bowl of purple rice.
