Some aspects of this are really to like - the open kitchen, the quality and authenticity of the dough, the willingness to signpost vegan options on the menu etc. But I just wasn't a fan of the vegan cheese they used (should have asked which it was), which didn't really complement the baba ganoush and was much too watery when cooked at high temperature.
I also noticed that although social media will tell you they offer plant-based meat substitutes as well as mylkshakes, I was told yesterday that the only veganisation available at the moment was the cheese replacement. Just a case of watch this space, hopefully?
NB. You do need to request the vegan version (and pay an additional RM10) - the original comes with feta #veganpizza #lebanese

Is baba ganoush on pizza like having it on thick pita?

Hopefully more to come! And don’t worry we’re going to send them your review so they can improve on the cheese!
