Review of Mushroom And “egg” Truffle Croissant at WellSmoocht by waisum
The tofu scramble was egg-cellent!! I love how they managed to make it a little wet and runny. Just wish they were more generous with it to make up for the less than ideal croissant. I had high expectations for their croissants because they do excellent vegan bakes but ahh this one really fell short. The pastry was too chewy, not flakey enough and the crust also tasted a little burnt. I guess it's hard to make tasty croissants with good texture without all that dairy 😩
