Yam Ring at Choo Zai Zhai Vegetarian 自在齋素食 — Anne's Review (Aug 6, 2020)

Say "Yam Ring" and I will drool. This is a dish that spells celebration. It is a community dish as it invites all to open up the ring to share the treasures within. Like a bird's nest that hides the gems inside. There are mushrooms, soy chicken, cashew nuts, carrots, mini sweet corn and capsicum. There is also the yummy crispy fried teeny winny vermellcelli that is thrown on top with some chinese parsley. The yam is made of mashed yam and lightly battered and fried. So it is creamy and rich. This is one dish where it is always so yum to the last spoonful. This is my special ocassion dish and a super pick me up when down.
