Review of Curry Mani Vegetable Rice Set at Vege Pot 素砂煲 by amazinganne

The portion of Curry Mani Leaf is generous. The flavour of the Mani Leaf is strong but not over powering. But the first taste is interesting. I read that it is well cooked when it is not bitter. So the chef here does it very well.

The curry has potato, egg plant, french beans and lady's fingers. Goes well with both brown and white rice.

Mani Leaf is called 'sweet leaf', a shrub grown in some tropical regions. In Chinese it is called mani cai (马尼菜), in Malay it is called cekur manis or sayur manis
