This dish is so good! Generous serving of Mani cai mixed with rich curry broth

strong but not over powering. But the first taste is interesting. I read that it is well cooked when it is not bitter. So the chef here does it very well.
The curry has potato, egg plant, french beans and lady's fingers. Goes well with both brown and white rice.
Mani Leaf is called 'sweet leaf', a shrub grown in some tropical regions. In Chinese it is called mani cai (马尼菜), in Malay it is called cekur manis or sayur manis

Flavourful curry that is not spicy so kids can have it too. I don't know what Mani vegetables are but they looked a lot like sweet potato vegetables well cooked so the veg wasn't in clumps. With tofu and tempeh, this curry with brown rice was such a delight
