Tender chickenless pieces

VEGAN

The Unbelievable ALT.

I expected more for the cost of the product. But am always willing to give new vegan products a chance.
This was very bland, might have been better if used in a curry to soak in flavours? (Used in risotto for us).
Breaks up a lot while cooking too so you end up with lots of tiny/bitty pieces. Not great but an alternative.

janxr I use these in strongly flavoured sauces - Indian/Thai curries etc. where they work well, but also found you have to be very gentle with them or they break into a million pieces! 1 likeReply
